Don't go through life alone. Let someone come along side you whatever you might be going through.
We are all faced with difficulties and challenges in life, and God never intended for us to go through these experiences alone. Through the Christ-centered support and formal training given to our Stephen Ministers, they are ready to offer emotional and spiritual care by walking alongside you while you experience life’s challenges.
“Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.“ ~ Galatians 6:2
What is Stephen Ministry?
We are all faced with difficulties and challenges in life, and God never intended for us to go through these experiences alone. Since the summer of 2013, Community Celebration Church in Kasson, has offered a cost-free, distinctively-Christian caring ministry called Stephen Ministry. Stephen Ministry equips lay people through over 50 hours of training to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to congregation members and the surrounding community who are presently experiencing difficulties and challenges in day-to-day life.
Stephen Ministers Care For People Facing Tough Times
God never intended for us to walk through trials alone. Stephen Ministers provide emotional and spiritual care in a highly confidential manner to those who are hurting or may be facing:
• Hospitalization (recent or long-term)
• Divorce or separation
• Loneliness, discouragement or isolation
• Unemployment or job crises
• A terminal illness
• Aging and life changes/transitions
• Birth, adoption, miscarriage, or infertility
• A diagnosis of a chronic illness
• Recovery after an accident or disaster
• Parenting and relationship issues
If you are interested in learning more about Stephen Ministry, or would like to receive the confidential care of a Stephen Minister, please contact our church office at: (507) 634-1463.
Rejoice and Resilience is a faith-based mental health support group. We have groups for individuals living with a mental disorder and separate groups for loved ones/friends of those individuals. Trained leaders who also have been impacted by mental illness lead the groups.
Since January 2018, we provide a safe, confidential, small group setting with a focus on moving towards a higher level of wellness in our lives. We meet to gain a deeper understanding of mental disorders; to develop a community of caring and support; and to identify and learn skills and tools to develop resiliency in our lives.
We use a workbook during our sessions which you can purchase ($20) the first time you attend.
(Note – if you cannot afford the workbook, please talk to one of the leaders).
We use resources provided by Mental Health Grace Alliance out of Waco, Texas. We encourage you to explore their website for resources, excellent information and webinars. The link is: https://mentalhealthgracealliance.org.

We impart opening the heart to receive truth, renewing the mind, resulting in the renew of your soul through Christ. Our Prayer ministry is not a psychological counseling service, nor is it intended to be. Prayer Ministers are trained to look at the root causes that lie beneath the surface of most problems.
Ezekiel 36:26: “I will give you a new heart and a new mind. I will take away your stubborn heart of stone and give you an obedient heart.”
Community Celebration Church has stood with God to establish a safe and confidential place where people can receive Godly Counsel through the Bible and prayer. Our Prayer ministry is not a psychological counseling service, nor is it intended to be. Prayer Ministers are trained to look at the root causes that lie beneath the surface or most problems. “Bitter roots” feed patterns that lead to habitual sins, dysfunctions, broken relationship, and many other kinds of “bad fruit”. Once bitter roots are discovered, the prayer minister leads the person to drop the afflictions at the cross, and to forgive those who wounded him/her and to receive forgiveness.
Healing Hearts offers intensive weeks of prayer ministry with our highly trained prayer ministers.
