Trustworthy: Overcoming Our Greatest Struggles to Trust God

When hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan, we assume our life should follow, we’re more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we begin to press into our ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try.

In this 6-session study of 1 & 2 Kings, join Lysa TerKeurst in Israel as she honestly reveals the places of distrust in her own heart while exploring the deeply applicable Scriptures that will teach us how to truly trust God. This is a 6 week study. You can register here, listed after the Daniel Dilemma classes.

Power of US Marriage Seminar

In the beginning, God created both man and woman, but He did not stop there. Instead, He united His two creations into one flesh through marriage. The Power of US marriage seminar dives into the mysteries of this divine bond, the strength that it can bring to our lives, and the challenges it can also bring. Equipping couples with practical skills, this workshop helps couples tap into the true power of US.

Many couples do not know “how” to be married. This seminar helps couples discover better ways to meet one another’s needs, communicate, resolve conflicts, express anger, avoid dirty fighting, and understand how their personality styles impact relationships for better or worse. Fun, practical, and easy to learn, The Power of US is appropriate for couples at any age or stage. The program is designed to reach couples across the spectrum – from happy and highly motivated to struggling and highly stressed.

Objectives

- Develop an understanding for the foundation of love.

- Identify core needs in your and your partner's lives and be able to communicate them clearly.

- Learn to have healthy conflict and forgive one another.

- Acknowledge and enjoy the differences between you and your spouse, rather than resenting your differences.

- Learn skills to enrich your relationship that you will use on a daily basis.

  • Saturday February 15th 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
